Asante Kotoko SC and Debibi United have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for allegedly failing to publish video highlights of their last Sunday Ghana Premier League match within the required time.
The two clubs are accused of breaching Article 38(8)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2025. The alleged offence relates to their league encounter played at the Golden City Park in Berekum.
According to the GFA, both clubs failed to make the video highlights of the match available within 48 hours after the fixture, as required under the competition regulations.
The clubs have been given until Friday, September 11, 2026, to respond to the charges and present their respective explanations to the GFA.
The latest action forms part of the GFA’s regulatory measures aimed at ensuring that clubs comply with the rules governing the Premier League.
The Association maintains a set of regulations covering areas including competition organisation, player eligibility, disciplinary procedures and other responsibilities of participating clubs.
The GFA has in recent seasons placed greater emphasis on improving the commercial and media value of the Ghana Premier League.
In August 2025, the Association announced a broadcasting partnership with Adesa Productions Limited to support the production and broadcast of Premier League matches.
The availability of match highlights is important for supporters who may not have watched games live. It also helps clubs and the league maintain a stronger digital presence and gives fans easier access to match content.
