The Ghana Education Service has released the National Harmonised Prospectus for students preparing to enter Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The prospectus is intended to guide parents and prospective students on the essential items required for admission, covering both boarding and day students.
Parents and students have been urged to carefully review the prospectus and begin making the necessary preparations ahead of the start of the new academic year.
The release of the harmonised prospectus comes ahead of the publication of school placements and is expected to help families understand the requirements they will need to meet once students are placed in their respective schools.
The prospectus is also expected to promote uniformity in the admission process by providing a common list of requirements for newly admitted students across the country.
