Four students of the Ada Senior High Technical School have been taken into police custody after a disturbing video circulated on social media showing one of them wielding a cutlass and issuing threats to other students on campus.
The Tema Regional Police Command moved quickly after officers came across the footage around 12:10 a.m. on May 22, 2026.
Police say they immediately treated the video as a serious security concern and launched action.
ASP Dede Dzakpasu, who heads Public Affairs at the Tema Regional Police Headquarters, confirmed the development in a statement.
He noted that officers deployed a night patrol team to the school shortly after the video was detected.
Working alongside school authorities, the police arrested four individuals linked to the incident.
They include 18-year-old Raymond Gyamfi, 18-year-old Oscar Amemoair, 18-year-old Odartey Wilson, and one juvenile whose identity has been withheld.
Investigators are currently questioning the suspects while the case remains under active review.
Police have not yet disclosed what triggered the confrontation captured in the video.
The Command has cautioned students to resolve disputes through approved school procedures rather than resorting to intimidation or violence.
