FC Samartex head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang and Medeama SC coach Tanko Ibrahim have been shortlisted for the September NASCO Coach of the Month award following unbeaten runs by their respective teams.
Both coaches guided their sides through four league matches during the month, recording two wins and two draws without suffering a defeat.
Agyemang’s FC Samartex scored six goals and conceded three during the period. The results earned the team eight points and maintained their strong start to the campaign.
Tanko Ibrahim also oversaw an unbeaten month with Medeama, who matched Samartex’s record of two victories and two draws. However, Medeama produced a more prolific attacking display, scoring eight goals while conceding four.
The two coaches will now compete for the monthly award, which recognises outstanding managerial performances in the Ghana Premier League.
Their nominations reflect the consistency of both teams during September, with neither side dropping points through a defeat despite facing challenging league opposition.
The winner will receive a 40-inch NASCO Television and a NASCO Double-Door Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator.
