Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs have taken an early lead in Group A of the 2026 X1 Division One League (DOL) Super Cup after recording an impressive 4-1 victory over Real Tamale United at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
Ebusua Dwarfs produced a strong performance in their opening match to secure all three points and immediately establish themselves as the team to beat in the group.
The result puts the Cape Coast-based side at the top of the Group A standings with three points and a positive goal difference ahead of their second fixture.
In the other Group A encounter, newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Debibi United were held to a thrilling 3-3 draw by Attram De Visser.
The two sides produced an entertaining six-goal contest, sharing the points after neither team could find a winning goal.
The draw leaves both Debibi United and Attram De Visser on one point each, while Real Tamale United occupy the bottom position without a point following their heavy defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs.
The results have set up an interesting second round of matches, with all four teams still having an opportunity to improve their positions in the group.
Debibi United will face Real Tamale United on Wednesday in a crucial encounter. Both sides will be looking for their first victory of the competition, although Real Tamale United will need a much-improved performance after conceding four goals in their opening game.
