Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, the newly elected Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Greater Accra Region, has committed to working towards the election of the party’s current flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as President of Ghana.
Following a decisive victory in the Greater Accra Regional NPP elections, where he received 488 votes compared to his opponent’s 173, Dr. Okoe Boye made this pledge in a Facebook post.
In a message expressing his gratitude to the constituency executives for their support and involvement in the election, Dr. Okoe Boye characterized the outcome as a strong and clear endorsement of his leadership.
He stated that his efforts would now extend beyond the regional election, focusing on securing a win for Dr. Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer for the upcoming 2028 general election.
“We shall not rest until we make Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia President of the Republic of Ghana,” he declared.
Dr. Okoe Boye also conveyed his appreciation to the Greater Accra constituency executives for their trust, encouragement, and dedication throughout the campaign.
“Thank you, Greater Accra. The Restoration Begins!” he added.
