Kuffuor tasks Nhyiaeso NPP executives to set standard for 2028 victory

Former President John Agyekum Kuffuor has challenged the newly elected Nhyiaeso Constituency executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to make the constituency a model for the party’s campaign ahead of the 2028 general election.

President Kuffuor made the call when the new executives, led by Constituency Chairman Kwadwo Owusu Bempah, visited him at his private residence.

The delegation was at the residence to thank the former President for his support following their election and to seek his blessings as they begin their term in office.

Kuffuor prayed for wisdom and divine guidance for the executives. He also expressed the hope that Nhyiaeso would become a yardstick for the NPP’s efforts to return to power in 2028.

He urged the new leadership to work with integrity, compassion and wisdom while strengthening unity and engaging the party’s grassroots.

The former President also praised Chairman Owusu Bempah for his leadership and philanthropic activities in the constituency.

Among the projects he highlighted were the provision of mechanised boreholes, scholarships for brilliant but needy students and the construction of an ultra-modern ICT library.

The ICT library was built in honour of the late former Nhyiaeso Constituency Chairman, George Kofi Adjei, popularly known as Geokad.

He described the former President’s counsel as valuable wisdom that money cannot buy.
