A storekeeper at Tatale Senior High School in the Northern Region has been accused of attempting to steal foodstuffs from the school’s stores after being confronted by students.

The incident, which took place in Tatale, has garnered public attention following a viral video that depicts the storekeeper holding food items while students shout at him.

According to reports, the students had set up an ambush after suspecting that food supplies were being taken from the store.

The storekeeper, along with another individual, was allegedly trying to remove the items when the students confronted them.

“When the students shouted, the storekeeper ran away, leaving the other man behind,” a source familiar with the incident said.

The case has been reported to the Northern Regional Director of Education, who has ordered a comprehensive investigation.

When contacted, authorities at Tatale Senior High School confirmed that the matter is under investigation.
