Spanish side Getafe have reportedly submitted an offer to sign England international Jadon Sancho as they seek to strengthen their squad.
According to reports, Getafe’s president has sent a formal proposal to Sancho’s representative, with the winger now considering the offer.
Sancho is currently a free agent, giving the La Liga club an opportunity to secure his services without paying a transfer fee. However, the financial terms of a potential deal could prove challenging because of salary restrictions in the Spanish league.
Getafe are reportedly aware that Sancho has also received offers from clubs in the Middle East, which could provide competition for his signature.
The proposed move would offer the 26-year-old an opportunity to continue his career in Europe after a period of uncertainty surrounding his club future.
Sancho, who rose to prominence at Borussia Dortmund before joining Manchester United in 2021, has also had loan spells away from Old Trafford, including a return to Dortmund and a stint at Chelsea.
His next destination remains uncertain, with Getafe’s proposal reportedly under consideration.
