Heath Goldfields LTD has responded strongly to what it calls misleading claims about its work at the Bogoso-Prestea Gold Mine.
The company rejected the allegations and asked the public to rely on accurate and verified information.

It stressed that these claims ignore the legal and operational rules that guide its activities.
Management expressed worry that false or incomplete information could confuse workers, local communities, and the general public.
The company said it remains committed to open and clear communication. It added that it will continue to share updates through official channels and maintain close contact with regulators, employees, and stakeholders.
Heath Goldfields confirmed that work at the mine is ongoing. It explained that all operations follow an approved mine development plan and take place under the supervision of the Minerals Commission of Ghana.
The company also stated that it handles its finances and operations in line with all required regulations. It said its main goal is to fully carry out its development plans for the mine.
Looking ahead, the company plans to provide regular updates on its operations, community projects, and long-term plans.
