Weeds take over Judicial Service bungalow in Wenchi

A Judicial Service bungalow at Wenchi in the Bono Region has been left in a neglected state, with overgrown weeds taking over the premises.

A resident of Wenchi, Mr Eric Osei, has expressed concern over the deteriorating state of a Judicial Service bungalow in the municipality, following reports that the facility has been taken over by overgrown weeds.

According to Mr Osei, the condition of the bungalow reflects poor maintenance of a public asset that should be preserved and kept in a decent state.

He questioned why a property belonging to the Judicial Service had been allowed to become bushy and vulnerable to possible encroachment and security threats.

“The situation is worrying because this is government property, and such facilities must be properly maintained to prevent them from deteriorating,” Mr Osei said.

He added that the overgrown vegetation around the bungalow could attract snakes, rodents and other dangerous animals, posing risks to people within the area.

Mr Osei appealed to the Judicial Service and relevant authorities to take immediate steps to clear the weeds and restore the facility to an acceptable condition.
