Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has revealed that she recently lost a four-month pregnancy while she was still working on a film.
Abraham made the revelation while speaking at the Bestie Jesu Concert 2026 in Lagos, where she also recounted the support she received from Pastor Bolaji Idowu during the difficult period.
According to the actress, she was still filming when she lost the pregnancy, leaving her emotionally and physically affected.
“I was four months pregnant, but I lost it. But guess what, I was filming, so I was down,” she said.
Abraham said she initially struggled with the thought of informing her parents, particularly her mother, because of concerns about how she would react to the news.
She eventually informed her husband, actor Kola Ajeyemi, but he was away at the time.
With the situation requiring medical attention, Abraham said she reached out to Pastor Bolaji Idowu, who immediately began praying for her and asked where she was.
She told him she was on her way to the hospital for an evacuation procedure following the pregnancy loss.
The pastor, according to Abraham, subsequently sent her millions of naira to support her medical care.
The actress expressed her gratitude to him for standing by her during what she described as a difficult moment.
Abraham has previously spoken publicly about experiencing pregnancy loss. In 2022, she disclosed during an interview with Channels Television that she had lost a pregnancy and had been deeply affected by the experience, particularly because she hoped to have one or two more children.
Her latest revelation adds another deeply personal chapter to her experience with pregnancy loss, this time highlighting not only the pain of the experience but also the support she received while going through it.
