Youtube star MrBeast, known for his channel’s high-profile stunts and big-budget giveaways, has found her Mrs Beast in South African content creator Thea Booysen.
In an Instagram post on July 21, Tuesday, MrBeast, whose real name is James Donaldson, has married Booysen in an intimate private ceremony, sharing photos of their special day.
“I found MrsBeast (heart emojis) and it was the best day of my life,” he captioned his post.
Among the pictures MrBeast shared showed him dipping Booysen while dancing. He was wearing a cream-colored tuxedo with black pants and floral boutonniere, while his bride wore a sheer ivory lace gown for the ceremony. In another picture, the bride changed into a silver cocktail party dress and him into a plain white collared shirt while cutting their wedding cake at a beachside reception.
Both 28 years old, the couple met in 2022 during a trip to South Africa. They were instantly attracted to one another and got engaged on Christmas Day in 2024.
In a video interview posted by Wall Street Journal on TikTok, MrBeast said Booysen makes him “a better person.”
“My whole life has been centered around creating content and growing my company, and she’s one of a few persons I’ve ever met that makes me a better businessman, pushes me. She has a constant thirst for knowledge, she’s always learning. For some people that might seem boring, but I think that’s one of the hottest things she could do,” he said.
In every way, I have nothing but positive things to say. I mean, that’s why I’m marrying her,” he further said.
MrBeast recently became the first individual creator on YouTube to surpass 500 million subscribers, setting a new milestone for the platform and widening his lead as the world’s most-followed content creator.
