Musician Keche Joshua has disclosed that he received GH¢80,000 to make an appearance in Pappy Kojo’s recent music video for his song Customer.
Speaking in an interview with MX24 TV on Monday, May 25, Keche Joshua praised the visuals and disclosed the amount he was paid for his role in the production.
“Oh Customer is a very nice video. I was paid GH¢80,000 just to appear in that video,” he said.
His disclosure surprised many, especially given the long-running online exchanges and the apparent tension between him and Pappy Kojo over the years.
When asked why he agreed to participate in the project despite their public disagreements, Keche Joshua made it clear that business came first.
“That doesn’t matter. Business is business, and I was paid, so I had to work. I left immediately after I was done with what I was supposed to do,” he explained.
He also suggested that the banter between them may not be over, jokingly claiming that Pappy Kojo recently took another swipe at him online.
“Pappy even dissed us under one of our videos recently. I’ll respond to him later,” he said humorously.
Keche Joshua went on to tease the rapper, claiming he had more life experience and success than Pappy Kojo.
“For Pappy, he doesn’t respect. I’m more of a husband and richer than him, so if he wants to learn from me, he should just come so I can show him how I pray and talk to God,” he added jokingly.
Following the interview, fans quickly reacted online, with many suggesting the supposed feud between the two artistes may not be serious after all.
Others believe their exchanges appear more like playful banter than a genuine rivalry, especially after Keche Joshua willingly accepted a role in Pappy Kojo’s music video despite their history.
