Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has wished the three finalists of this year’s National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) the very best ahead of today’s grand finale.
The three schools competing for the ultimate prize are Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC), St Augustine’s College (Augusco), and Accra Academy Senior High School.
In a Facebook post ahead of the final, Dr. Bawumia praised the three schools and described them as some of the best in Ghana.
He encouraged the students to give their best as they compete for the NSMQ trophy.
“Today, three of Ghana’s finest schools go head-to-head in the grand finale of the National Science & Maths Quiz: Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School, St. Augustine’s College, and Accra Academy Senior High School.”
Dr. Bawumia also congratulated the contestants for making it this far, saying that regardless of who wins, all three schools have already achieved something significant.
“I wish you the very best as you compete for the ultimate prize. Whatever the outcome, you are all champions of Ghana’s future.”
He ended his message by mentioning the three finalists and wishing them success in the much-anticipated competition.
“Good luck, PRESEC, Augusco and Accra Academy.”
