The accident happened on Monday, August 3, and involved a State Transport Company (STC) bus, two fuel tankers, a Kia Sorento and a Mitsubishi pick-up.
The crash sparked a huge fire that completely destroyed the STC bus. One of the fuel tankers also left the road and fell into a nearby river.
A member of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Communications Team, Alex King Nartey, confirmed the incident to Citi News, saying emergency response teams had been sent to the scene to assess the situation and carry out rescue operations.
