The Women’s Premier Super Cup will return later this month as the Ghana Football Association (GFA) prepares for the new Women’s Premier League season.
The 2026 edition of the off-season competition is scheduled to take place from September 23 to 29 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram.
The tournament will bring together the top four teams from the Northern Zone and the top four clubs from the Southern Zone of the Women’s Premier League.
The eight participating teams will compete for the Super Cup title as they use the tournament to prepare for the upcoming league campaign.
The competition also provides an opportunity for clubs to assess their squads and build momentum before the start of the new season.
Dreamz Ladies will enter the tournament as the defending champions after making history in the 2024 edition.
The Northern Zone side became the first team from the zone to win the trophy after defeating Ampem Darkoa Ladies 2-1 in the final.
Sarah Nyarko and Stella Nyamekye scored for Dreamz Ladies in the final to secure the club’s historic triumph.
