Swedru All Blacks target Kotoko win to end winless run

Swedru All Blacks will look to revive their Ghana Premier League campaign when they host Asante Kotoko at the Swedru Sports Stadium on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

The Black Magicians enter the Matchday Six encounter seeking to end a three-game winless run after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Aduana FC in Dormaa last weekend.

All Blacks took an early lead in that encounter but failed to hold on, eventually suffering their second defeat of the season. Their recent form has yielded just one win, two draws and two losses in their last five league matches.

However, the Swedru-based side can draw confidence from their home performances, having remained unbeaten in their opening two league games at the Swedru Sports Stadium, with one victory and one draw.

They also have positive memories of their previous home meeting with Kotoko, having beaten the Porcupine Warriors 2-1 at the venue during the 2025/26 season.

Kotoko, meanwhile, travel to Swedru looking to build on their narrow 1-0 victory over Karela United in Kumasi, which ended a two-match winless streak.

The result lifted the Kumasi-based giants to eighth position on the league table with eight points from five matches. They have recorded two wins, two draws and one defeat, scoring six goals and conceding the same number.

Despite their improved form, Kotoko are yet to secure an away victory this season. They have drawn both of their opening two away matches, scoring three goals and conceding three.
