The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) is set to relocate its headquarters to a new building in its capital, Dakar, in a move that highlights growing support from key figures in Senegalese football.

The federation will move from its current offices in Liberté 6 Extension to Cité Keur Gorgui, where it will occupy a modern twelve-story building owned by Sadio Mané.

The announcement was made on Saturday by FSF third vice-president Pape Sidy Lô during the Ordinary General Assembly of the Dakar League.

According to him, the arrangement comes at no financial cost to the federation, making it a significant boost for the organisation.

He explained that Mané, one of Senegal’s most celebrated footballers, willingly offered the building to support the development of the game in his home country.

“It’s a financial arrangement that was done intelligently,” Lô stated, suggesting that the deal was carefully structured to benefit the federation without placing any financial burden on it.

The move is expected to improve the working conditions of the FSF and provide a more modern and spacious environment for its operations. With football continuing to grow in Senegal, having a well-equipped headquarters is seen as an important step in strengthening administration and planning.

This gesture by Mané adds to his long list of contributions off the pitch. The former Liverpool FC and Bayern Munich forward has consistently invested in social and development projects in Senegal, including schools, hospitals, and community facilities.
