Chelsea midfielder Moisés Caicedo has described the club as his home, highlighting the warm reception he has received since joining the Premier League side.
The Ecuador international says the support and kindness shown to him by people across the club have created a special bond, motivating him to give his best performances on the pitch.
Caicedo expressed gratitude to everyone at Chelsea, from the kit staff to the coaching team, for making him feel valued and welcomed.
“Chelsea is my home because they treat me like I’ve been here for a long, long time. It’s a special place for me,” he said.
The midfielder added that he was determined to repay the club’s faith by bringing happiness to its supporters and continuing to demonstrate his abilities.
“I want to always give them happiness because I know they did everything for me,” Caicedo said, acknowledging the people who have supported him during his time at Stamford Bridge.
He also stressed his desire to maintain his attitude while raising his level of performance for his teammates, coaches and fans.
“I want to always be the same, but even more so on the pitch. I want to always show my teammates, the coaches, the fans, just what I’m capable of,” he added.
Caicedo joined Chelsea from Brighton and Hove Albion in August 2023 in a deal worth a reported £115 million, making him one of the most expensive signings in Premier League history.
