The Black Stars left Accra this morning for Côte d’Ivoire ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group C qualifier against the Elephants.
Ghana will travel to Bouaké for the crucial encounter, which is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2026.
The team has been in camp in Accra since Monday as preparations for the important fixture continue.
The players held intensive training sessions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday and Tuesday as the technical team worked on their plans for the match.
Eighteen players took part in Tuesday’s training session before the team’s scheduled departure for Côte d’Ivoire.
The Black Stars are expected to hold their final training session in Bouaké this evening, giving the players an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the conditions ahead of the game.
Ghana are in Group C alongside Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia and Somalia.
The Black Stars will be hoping to secure a positive result against the hosts as they begin their campaign in the qualifying group.
