The group stage draw for the 2026 X1 Division One League (DOL) Super Cup has been completed, setting the stage for an exciting competition involving eight of the best-performing Division One League clubs in Ghana.
The pairings were confirmed after a meeting involving the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Competitions Department, the DOL Super Cup Committee and representatives from the participating clubs.
The tournament will be hosted at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium starting from August 10 to 18, where the eight teams will compete in two groups of four.
The top-performing clubs from each group will advance to the knockout stage as they battle for the ultimate prize.
Group A features Debibi United FC, Port City FC, Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs FC and Attram De Visser FC. The group is expected to provide exciting contests as clubs with different levels of experience compete for a place in the semi-finals.
Debibi United and Ebusua Dwarfs bring strong football traditions, while Port City FC and Attram De Visser FC will be hoping to use the competition as an opportunity to make a statement ahead of the new league season.
Group B will see FC AshantiGold 04, Tamale City FC, Semper Fi FC and Nsuopon Fidelity FC compete for the available knockout spots.
The four teams impressed during the qualification process and are expected to produce competitive matches throughout the group stage.
The X1 DOL Super Cup brings together top clubs from Ghana’s three Division One League zones, alongside the two highest-ranked third-placed teams.
The competition serves as an important platform for clubs to assess their squads, test new signings and prepare for the upcoming league campaign.
This year’s edition also introduces a new chapter following the partnership between the Ghana Football Association and X1 Energy Drink.
The company has become the headline sponsor of the tournament under a five-year agreement aimed at supporting the growth and development of domestic football.
