According to the DOL Super Cup Committee chairman, the support from X1 Energy Drink comes at a significant period for the growth of the Division One League, where clubs and players continue to seek greater exposure and investment opportunities.

“We are delighted to welcome X1 Energy Drink as the headline sponsor of the DOL Super Cup. This partnership is a huge endorsement of the work being done to develop domestic football and create meaningful opportunities for clubs and players,” El-Eter said.

He stressed that corporate partnerships are essential to the sustainability of football competitions, particularly at the developmental level, where clubs often require additional resources to improve their operations and provide better platforms for players.

El-Eter also commended the Executive Council of the GFA for securing what he described as a landmark partnership.

He expressed optimism that the collaboration would help raise the standard of the competition and strengthen its position within Ghana’s football calendar.
