TikToker Priscilla Kyeremaa, popularly known as Priscy Wan, has disclosed that she has undergone cosmetic facial enhancements due to years of online bullying over her appearance.
Speaking on the Okukuseku Talk Show with Emelia Brobbey on Tuesday, June 2, the content creator clarified that while she has never altered her body, she has made a few adjustments to her face.
“I haven’t touched my body, but I have touched my face a couple of times,” she disclosed.
According to Priscy Wan, the nature of her TikTok content requires her to constantly appear on camera, making her a target for trolls who frequently mocked her asymmetrical facial features.
“People used to bully me because I have an asymmetrical face, which I am not ashamed of,” she said.
She recounted how a woman who specialises in facial balancing reached out to her through TikTok after noticing the negative comments she often received online.
“She sent me a DM and said she was into facial balancing and had realised people bully me a lot. She asked me to come around. I agreed and said I’m an influencer, so if you’re going to pay me and I’m also going to do it for free, why not? I’ll come and try it and see if it works for me,” she explained.
Priscy Wan stressed that she did not undergo surgery, noting that the procedure involved only dermal fillers to enhance certain facial features and create balance.
“It was just fillers on my nose bridge, gave me some chin and raised my lips as well. With my cheeks, we needed some balance, so she added some fillers in my jawline so it could balance it for me,” she said.
The TikTok star added that she has no issue admitting to the procedure and believes individuals should be free to make personal decisions about their appearance without fear of judgment.
