Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Jay Bahd has shared insights into his personal beliefs, indicating that while he does not consider himself a Christian or attend church, he holds a profound belief in God and Jesus Christ.

During an appearance on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, he articulated that his connection with God is intimate and does not rely on religious institutions.

“I’m not a Christian and I do not go to church, but I believe in God and Jesus Christ,” he said.

He mentioned that he prays every day and views his body as the temple of God, stressing that he does not need to be within a church building or contribute tithes to maintain a relationship with God.

Jay Bahd expressed that his faith plays a significant role in his music, asserting that he believes God communicates through him during his creative endeavours.

“I know my body is God’s temple, and He speaks through my music,” he added.

Additionally, he pointed out that prior to recording, he seeks divine guidance and aligns himself with what he refers to as God’s message.
