Ghanaian gospel musician Scott Evans has expressed strong confidence ahead of this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards, stating that missing out on the Best Urban/Contemporary Gospel Song of the Year would be a major disappointment.

Speaking on DayBreak Hitz on Hitz FM, he said he firmly believes he deserves to win the category.

“If I don’t win, it will be a big blow. I believe I’ve worked hard and deserve this award,” he stated.

According to him, he has remained consistent in the gospel music scene and has put in significant effort over the years.

He noted that his confidence stems from both his hard work and his understanding of the industry, adding that he has been actively campaigning and receiving strong support from fans.

Scott Evans compared the category to others where winners are often predictable, suggesting that his performance over the year makes him a strong contender.

He maintained that his chances of winning are high and expressed optimism about securing the award.
