Didi Dramani reveals Black Princesses are owed three qualifying bonuses since 2016

Former Black Princesses head coach Didi Dramani has revealed that members of Ghana’s women’s U-20 national team have received only one of four qualifying bonuses owed to them following their campaign to reach the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Dramani, who guided the team to the tournament in Papua New Guinea, said the outstanding payments remain unresolved years after the players achieved qualification for the global competition.

Speaking in an interview, the former coach disclosed that some of the players still contact him in the hope that he can help them secure the money owed to them.

“They still call me about their unpaid bonuses because they feel I should be someone who can push for it. Why is it like that? It is not supposed to be so,” Dramani said.

The Black Princesses qualified for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, marking another appearance at the tournament for Ghana’s women’s youth team.

Despite the achievement, the players are still pursuing three outstanding qualifying bonuses from the campaign.
