Their latest success was a thrilling 3-2 win over FC Ashanti Gold ’04, taking their tally to eight points. The Kpando-based side will hope to build on their improved away form after ending a 17-match winless run on the road in their previous away outing.

Second-placed Samartex will also seek to preserve their unbeaten record when they visit FC Ashanti Gold ’04 at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi. The Timber Giants have recorded three wins and two draws to accumulate 11 points, level with Medeama.

Ashanti Gold have seven points and sit ninth despite winning both home matches this season. They will be eager to respond after suffering a 3-2 defeat to Heart of Lions.

At Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem United will attempt to recover from their 3-1 loss to Port City FC when they welcome Vision FC. The Hunters have seven points and have won both home games without conceding, while Vision are winless in their last four matches and will be searching for their first away victory.

Meanwhile, Karela United host bottom-placed Dreams FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale. Karela have six points, with both victories coming at home, while Dreams remain the only team yet to win this season.
