There’s enough work for all of us – Bawumia to defeated NPP aspirants

NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has assured NPP members who contested the party’s presidential race but lost that they will have roles to play in the party’s campaign ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Speaking at the NPP Delegates Conference, Dr. Bawumia assured the aspirants that they would have important roles to play as the party prepares for the next general election.

“You’ll be part of the 2028 campaign; there’s enough work for all of us,” he said.

Dr. Bawumia urged party members to put the internal contests behind them and focus on strengthening the NPP ahead of 2028.

He stressed the importance of unity and collective effort, noting that the party would need the contribution of its various leaders and members as it prepares for the next electoral cycle.

His remarks come as the NPP concludes its national delegates conference, where delegates are electing new national officers and considering proposed changes to the party’s constitution.

The conference is expected to usher in a new phase of the party’s internal reorganisation as it begins preparations for the 2028 elections.
