The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has successfully removed and relocated a large swarm of bees found at Suhum-Okorase in the Eastern Region.
The Suhum Municipal Fire Station was called to the scene after residents raised the alarm over the presence of the bees in the community.
A seven-member response team, led by ADO II Ocansey Bright, was subsequently deployed to handle the situation.
The swarm had settled inside the ceiling of a metal container, creating concern among residents and others in the area.
Fire officers carefully extracted the bees and moved them to a safer location, successfully resolving the situation without recording any casualties.
The operation helped avert a potential threat to residents and anyone else who might have encountered the swarm.
