The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to open nominations for its 2026 Regional Executive Elections on Tuesday, October 6, beginning the process of selecting new regional executives.
The party announced the start of the exercise in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 29, and encouraged interested members to use the opportunity to contest the various positions.
“This marks an important stage in the Party’s electoral process, and all members who intend to contest for the various Regional Executive positions are encouraged to take full advantage of the process within the prescribed period,” the statement said.
The NDC has instructed all prospective aspirants to pay for the collection of nomination forms and filing fees exclusively through its online portal, forms.ghanandc.com.
Payments will be accepted via Mobile Money, Visa or MasterCard.
“Bank payments and bank drafts will not be accepted,” the party stated.
The party also clarified that aspirants, proposers, seconders and endorsers must be members in good standing and must have fully paid their membership dues.
Members with outstanding dues have been urged to clear their arrears through 92025# or the party’s online dues payment platform.
The NDC further reminded participants to maintain discipline and respect throughout the electoral process.
“The Party urges all aspirants and members to conduct themselves with discipline, decorum and respect for the Party’s democratic values throughout the electoral process,” the statement added.
