The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has declared a 47-year-old man identified as Frank Danquah wanted for suspected offences linked to narcotics.
A notice put out by the Commission on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, says Mr Danquah, who was born on September 11, 1978, is wanted and has appealed to the public to help trace him.
NACOC is asking members of the public who may have information on his whereabouts to contact the Commission on its toll-free line 0800 307 307.
The notice did not give details of the specific offences he is suspected to have committed.
Under the Narcotics Control Commission Act, 2020 (Act 1019), offences include importation and exportation, unlawful possession, and prohibited business relating to narcotic drugs or plants. This is listed on the Commission’s official wanted-persons page as the general scope of cases it handles.
The declaration comes at a time when Ghana’s anti-drug system is under public attention.
Authorities are currently investigating how about 3.9 tonnes of suspected cocaine was trafficked from Ghana to France. The consignment was intercepted in Dunkirk.
In that case, six people have been remanded. Prosecutors have told the court that four containers were scanned at the Tema Port and allowed to leave for export even though abnormalities were reportedly detected in the scan images.
NACOC has not linked Mr Danquah to that case in its latest notice.
