A young trader, identified as Beatrice Afful, has reportedly died after being knocked down by a car on the Kumasi-Bibiani road while returning from Kumasi.
According to a post by Dunkwa TV on September 15, 2026, Beatrice, a resident of the Sefwi Akontombra District in the Western North Region, is said to have travelled to Kumasi to restock her business after selling out her previous stock.
The recent Senior High School graduate was returning home on a VIP bus with newly purchased dresses for sale when she reportedly asked the driver to stop so she could urinate by the roadside.
After alighting from the bus, she was allegedly struck by a car approaching from the opposite direction.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
