The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared that its passport application website, passport.mfa.gov.gh, is currently inaccessible due to technical difficulties.
In a public notice released on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the Ministry acknowledged the challenges customers face when trying to access the platform for passport applications.
According to the Ministry, its technical team is working with the National Signals Bureau (NSB) to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
The Ministry has expressed its apologies to affected customers for the inconvenience caused by this temporary disruption.
It has assured the public that an update will be communicated once the passport website is restored and fully operational.
