Salah reunites with young Liverpool fan Isaac Kearney in Turkey

Young Liverpool supporter Isaac Kearney has had another unforgettable moment with his football hero, Mohamed Salah, after Trabzonspor arranged a special reunion between the pair in Turkey.

Isaac and his family were flown to Türkiye by Trabzonspor for the surprise meeting with Salah, who recently joined the Turkish club after leaving Liverpool.

The emotional reunion took place at Trabzonspor’s training ground before Isaac later walked onto the pitch hand-in-hand with the Egyptian star.

Isaac was born with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects growth and development. He became widely known among football fans because of his strong support for Liverpool and his admiration for Salah.

His relationship with the former Liverpool forward began receiving international attention in 2024 when Salah and former Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk surprised Isaac at his school.

He was later invited to Liverpool’s training centre, where he met the players and watched the team train. He also served as a mascot for a Liverpool match at Anfield.

The latest reunion came after Salah completed his move to Trabzonspor earlier this month. The Turkish club took notice of Isaac’s continued support for the Egyptian forward and decided to make his dream come true once again.

Trabzonspor documented Isaac’s journey from England to Türkiye, including his arrival at the club wearing a personalised Salah shirt.

When he appeared at training, Salah was visibly surprised before embracing the young fan and introducing him to his new teammates.

The special moment continued on matchday when Isaac walked onto the pitch alongside Salah before Trabzonspor’s Europa League play-off match against Ferencvaros.
