Cheetah FC have been crowned champions of the Central Regional U-17 Colts League after recording a convincing 3-0 victory over Academicals SC in the final.
The championship decider brought together the winners of the two respective zones, with both teams hoping to finish their campaigns as the best under-17 side in the Central Region.
Cheetah FC, however, dominated proceedings and delivered an impressive performance to secure the title.
The young side started the final with confidence and quickly put Academicals SC under pressure. Their attacking approach paid off as they found the back of the net three times during the match.
Academicals SC struggled to cope with Cheetah FC’s attacking threat and found it difficult to create clear opportunities of their own. Despite their efforts to get back into the contest, they were unable to find a response.
Cheetah FC remained in control after taking a comfortable lead and managed the game effectively to protect their advantage until the final whistle.
