The Ghana Police Service successfully thwarted an attempted robbery at a GCB Bank branch located in Labone, Accra, resulting in the deaths of two suspects and the arrest of another.
According to the police, the incident took place on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
In a concise statement, the Ghana Police Service reported that its officers acted to prevent the robbery attempt at the bank.
“Two suspects have been gunned down, and one has been arrested,” the police said.
