A huge fire has broken out at a Melcom warehouse inside the Tema Free Zones Enclave.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), fire crews from the Tema and Greater Accra regions were quickly sent to the scene to fight the blaze.
Around 10 fire engines were deployed to stop the fire from spreading to nearby buildings and warehouses within the enclave.
Water tankers from nearby local assemblies also joined the operation to provide extra water for firefighters as thick smoke and large flames continued to rise from the warehouse.
Fortunately, no injuries or deaths have been reported so far.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and investigations will be carried out once the fire has been brought under control.
Authorities say they will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
