Actor and movie producer Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has responded to critics who claim his relevance in the movie industry has declined following his recent success at the 2026 Ghana Movie Awards.

The actor addressed the criticism in a video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, June 9, while unveiling two awards that were presented to him after he was unable to attend the ceremony.

“I’ve not said anything yet, but I will speak at the right time. Those who said my time has passed, I won’t say anything now.”

Questioning the basis of the criticism, the award-winning actor wondered how anyone could suggest he was no longer relevant after securing two awards at the prestigious event.

“I’ve received two awards and you think my time has passed?”

The actor further called out individuals who have compared him to others while insisting that he is no longer relevant in the entertainment industry.

“Those yapping and comparing some people to me, adding that I’m no longer relevant, should come and see the awards I received. If I’m no longer relevant, would I be winning two awards?” he noted.
