Ghanaian gospel musician Bernice Offei has died at the age of 63.
The veteran gospel musician reportedly passed away on the morning of Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Her death comes just a few days after she was reported missing in Accra. Her family, friends and people within the gospel music community had earlier appealed to the public for information about her whereabouts.
She was later found, and reports at the time indicated that she was safe.
Bernice Offei was a respected name in Ghana’s gospel music industry and had been active in music for several years. She was known for songs such as Hold On and Life Is So Short.
News of her death has left many fans and fellow musicians mourning the loss of a veteran voice in Ghanaian gospel music.
The cause of her death has not yet been made public.
