Moroccan referee Mustapha Kechchaf has been appointed as the centre referee for Ghana’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Group C qualifier against The Gambia.
Kechchaf will be assisted by compatriot Lahsen Azgaou, who will serve as Assistant Referee I, while Tunisia’s Yassine Saadaoui will act as Assistant Referee II.
Another Tunisian, Amir Loucif, has been named the Fourth Official for the crucial Group C encounter.
Liberia’s Sekou Wieh Konneh will serve as the Match Commissioner, with Nigeria’s Abel Baba appointed as the Referee Assessor.
Ghanaian official Danny Adotey has also been assigned to the match as the Broadcast Venue Manager.
The fixture is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, with kick-off set for 4:00pm.
The match will be Ghana’s second Group C fixture in the 2027 AFCON qualifying campaign.
The Black Stars will be looking to respond after beginning their qualifying campaign with a 2-0 defeat to Côte d’Ivoire in Bouaké on September 24.
