The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South West, Elvis Dapaah, and members of his team have been involved in a road traffic accident while travelling on constituency business.
The incident occurred while the MP and his team were on their way to secure educational placements for students in the constituency.
In a statement, the MP said everyone involved in the accident was safe and in stable condition.
He said they are receiving the necessary medical evaluation following the incident.
“Earlier today, while travelling on constituency business to secure educational placements for students across Ahafo Ano South West, my team and I were involved in a road traffic accident,” the MP said.
He expressed gratitude that no serious harm had been reported among those involved.
Elvis Dapaah also thanked first responders and medical personnel who attended to them after the accident.
Despite the incident, the MP said his commitment to the development of Ahafo Ano South West remained unchanged.
He also reaffirmed his focus on supporting young people in the constituency, particularly in accessing educational opportunities.
“My commitment to the development of Ahafo Ano South West and the future of our youth remains firm,” he said.
