A Nigerian national, Maazi Okechuku Augustine, has been remanded by the Accra Circuit Court in connection with an alleged foiled bank robbery at Labone in Accra.
Augustine appeared before Circuit Court 8 following a police operation that reportedly disrupted an alleged robbery attempt involving GCB Bank, Ecobank and Zenith Bank in the Labone area.
Police arrested Augustine during the operation after intervening to prevent the alleged criminal activity.
