Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia has admitted that players must also take responsibility for the club’s struggles instead of putting all the blame on managers.
The young Belgian midfielder spoke openly about the difficult period at Chelsea FC, where several managers have lost their jobs in recent years due to poor results and inconsistent performances.
Speaking about the situation at the club, Lavia said it is easy for people to focus only on the manager whenever things go wrong. However, he believes the players must also accept their share of the blame because they are the ones performing on the pitch.
“Sometimes it is easy because you see the manager leaving and a new one coming in,” Lavia said.
“But as players we need to show that we don’t just point at one person. If things happen, we are also a part of it because we are the ones on the pitch. We definitely take it to heart.”

Lavia’s comments come at a time when Chelsea continues to face pressure to return to their best form after a challenging few seasons in the Premier League.
The London club has spent heavily on new signings and changed managers multiple times, but results have not always matched expectations.
