Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has announced a cash reward for individuals who help expose television stations illegally broadcasting his films.

The Kumawood star announced as part of efforts to clamp down on piracy and protect his intellectual property, particularly movies he has personally produced.

According to LilWin, members of the public who provide credible evidence, such as video recordings of unauthorised broadcasts of his films, will be rewarded financially.

He urged viewers to be vigilant and report any TV stations found airing his content without proper authorization.

The actor clarified that the directive applies strictly to films he owns or has produced, noting that older productions in which he only featured may not fall under this arrangement.

LilWin expressed frustration over the growing trend of unauthorized use of creative content, stressing that film production requires significant financial investment.

He warned that television stations found culpable could face legal action if they fail to comply with copyright regulations.
