Officials from Bryant University have paid a strategic visit to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Bryant University has been selected as the official base camp for Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, during the tournament.

The visit is seen as an important step to ensure smooth planning and proper coordination before the competition begins.

During the meeting, officials from both sides discussed key areas such as accommodation, training facilities, transport, and general welfare for players and staff.

The goal is to create a comfortable and well-organised environment that will allow the team to focus fully on performance.

The delegation from Bryant University also used the opportunity to learn more about the specific needs of the Black Stars.

They assured the GFA of their readiness to provide world-class facilities and support services throughout Ghana’s stay during the World Cup.

On the other hand, GFA officials expressed confidence in the partnership. They noted that having a reliable and well-prepared base camp is very important for success at a major tournament.

According to them, early planning and strong cooperation will help avoid last-minute challenges.

The Black Stars will be making their fifth appearance at the FIFA World Cup, and expectations are high among Ghanaians. Proper preparation off the pitch is seen as just as important as performance on the field.
