Ghanaian referee Robinson Jasper has been appointed as part of the match officials for the 2026 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Mauritania and Côte d’Ivoire.
Jasper will serve as the Reserve Referee for the second-leg encounter, scheduled for Nouakchott on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The match will kick off at 17:00 GMT, with the winner securing qualification to the 2026 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal.
Moroccan official Azz-Eddine Essalhi will take charge of the game as the Centre Referee. He will be assisted by compatriots Driss Lamghaidar and Youssef Ait Hoummad, who will serve as Assistant Referees II and III respectively.
Another Moroccan, Nabil Elmaliki, has been appointed Timekeeper, while Guinea’s Fatoumata Kale Macina will serve as the Match Commissioner.
Jasper’s appointment adds to Ghana’s representation in international officiating and underlines the growing involvement of Ghanaian referees in major CAF competitions.
