The Real Madrid striker admitted that finding the right words to comfort Brazilians after the team’s exit has been difficult, but said he remains deeply appreciative of the opportunity to represent his country on football’s biggest stage.
“It’s still hard to figure out how to comfort everyone the way I’d like to,” Endrick wrote. “But I know I have a lot of people to thank.”
The young forward expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to wear the national colours, while also acknowledging the unwavering support of his family and Brazilian fans.
He said their encouragement throughout the tournament had given him strength and motivation, even in difficult moments.
