The Minister for Energy, John Abdulai Jinapor, will today, Monday, April 27, 2026, address the nation on developments in Ghana’s electricity sector.

The address is scheduled for 2:00 PM and is expected to provide updates on recent challenges affecting power supply in parts of the country.

The announcement comes in the wake of recent disruptions within the national grid, which have resulted in power outages in several areas.

Authorities have since been working to restore stability to the system.

The Minister’s address will focus on developments within the electricity sector and outline steps being taken to address the situation.

The briefing is expected to provide official communication to the public on the state of the power sector, as concerns over electricity supply continue to draw national attention.
