Ghana’s Black Meteors have been drawn against Libya in the second qualifying round of the TotalEnergies CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2027 qualifiers.
The two teams will meet over two legs between November 9 and 17, 2026, with Ghana set to travel to Libya for the first leg before hosting the North Africans in the return fixture.
Libya advanced to the second round after comfortably eliminating Togo 4-1 on aggregate in the preliminary stage.
The Libyans began their campaign with a 1-1 draw away in Lomé before securing a convincing 3-0 victory in the return leg at home to seal their qualification.
Ghana, meanwhile, received a bye into the second round and will enter the competition against Libya as they begin their quest to reach the tournament in Egypt.
The winner of the tie on aggregate will progress to the final qualifying round, where they will face either Equatorial Guinea or Niger. Those matches are scheduled for March 22 to 30, 2027.
The three-stage qualification process will produce seven teams to join hosts Egypt at the eight-team U-23 AFCON finals.
